B-per GST fusion protein purification kit - (Apr/13/2009 )

I need to purify GST tagged protein by using B-per reagent from pierce.(I used pGEX2T vector).Is there anyone used this kit? I have used Y-Per reagent before and I have loads of problems. My protein yield was so low. I had also low amount GST band except GST tagged protein on SDS. I don’t want to face with these problems again. I will use this protein to immunize rabbit. Any help would be appreciated.

GST should be almost the easiest protein for purification. Do not buy p-per kit but just the column and prepare other reagents by yourself. Have your check your GST protein first? If plenty, do dialyze and then purification.

It is easy to Purifiy the GST tagged protein , i do agree that the expression levels of GST tagged proteins are very less.
