ORF FINDER - download it... (Mar/19/2009 )

Hi I need to use orf finder, presently I am using it from NCBI.
But I need to have my own i.e., I need to use it even when I am offline...
I want to download it can some one tell me the place or link where can I download the
tool or its source code...

But where can I get code/program for it....

The linux code is on that page, email the author of the program, maybe he will send you code.

There's EMBOSS, which has the getorf and showorfs programs, and there's the Sequence Manipulation Suite, which has ORF Finder. Both suites are downloadable and can be locally run.

It's not too hard to detect orfs, I wrote my own orf finder using Perl.

pDRAW32 has an automatic ORF Finder feature in it.
Open the sequence in pDRAW32 and look for the black arrow.
