primer design - (Mar/14/2009 )

hi
i have a curious question.how do we design primers for a gene? is it just including the sequences at the 5' and 3' end of the cds of the gene?

Yeah and engineering sites, getting it into the right frame to fit in the vector and code for say a tag along with yr protein.

It really depends on what you want to do.
Expression, quantification, mutation…..

primer design it's a long story, don't expect to learn it from our replies.....you need to find info on protocol categories at protocol online website.
