What does 'limiting dilution PCR' mean? - I wanna know the meaning of 'limiting dilution' (Jan/26/2009 )

Probably what I'm doing is a limiting dilution PCR, but what does that mean??

Can you tell us what you're doing?

I had always understood it to be a dilution series of the template DNA to determine when amplification effectively stops. Apart from anything else, it's good to use to see if you have an inhibitor in the template DNA.

Thank you. Then what I'm doing is not a limiting dilution PCR. I misunderstood..

OK, so what are you doing?

Yes.....what are you doing, I would be interested in that as well.......
