Candida and Staphylococcus Aureus Polymicrobial Infection - Sinuses - (Apr/07/2021 )

I'm not sure if I have been given a trick question, to catch me out?

I believe these images to be a joint infection of Candida and Staph.

I'm only a student of Microbiology, at present, so is there anything I am missing looking at these pictures?

I understand it to be taken from a patients sinus sample, is that even possible? As thought this type of infection is commonly just found in the oral cavity?

Is there any research that supports this?

You can't say anything based on these photomicrographs.  On what basis do you propose a mixed Staph aureus/Candida albicans infection?
