minor risk allele - (May/31/2020 )
Hi, Im new to GWAS studies and would appreciate any help in understanding risk alleles associated with diseases.

In the above table for PNPLA3: G is the risk allele. GC and GG genotypes were significantly associated with increased risk of NAFLD. Is this because more samples with NAFLD have G allele compared to healthy samples and this difference is significant?
Also, is the risk higher (more significant) with GG than with GC genotype for NAFLD?
