Temperature data logger placement during steam sterilization - (Dec/04/2018 )

I done Steam sterilization (moist heat) of tap water in my country in the lab. I placed a biological indicator ampoule into the bottle of water.

 

I also placed the a temperature data logger for temperature recording in the bottle together.

 

Will the temperature profile will be the same if i place the temperature data logger in the autoclave chamber but not within the bottle? why ?
