Fixation for surface epitope detection - (Nov/05/2018 )

Hi,

Is it advisable to not fix the cells after extracellular staining for surface marker using flow cyto?

I mean, if I will directly go for detection after staining of the samples. Not planning to store for long use.

i have no experience with flow cytometry but it would seem to me that you would not want to use fixed cells for the process.
