List of gene based on expression patterns ? - (Aug/09/2018 )

Hi everyone,

This is my very first message here, this seems to be a great forum !

So here's the thing. I have a gigantic list of variants (around 10 000) and I need to filter the variants that are in genes expressed in the ovary or testis in a predominant manner.

Would anyone know a way to do this, by any chance?

Thank you all so much,

Alex.

There are a number of databases that contain this sort of information. The expression atlas at EMBL should be a good place to start. Having said that, I would suggest that you learn some bioinformatics automation approaches to do this - 10,000 is a lot to do manually.
