Standardization of SDS-PAGE!!! - (Apr/04/2018 )

What is meant by standardization of SDS-PAGE?
How to do that ?

Maybe it meant to use consistent host protein like beta actin etc for normalization

you run size standards with each gel (more than one, non-adjacent lane for more accuracy) to which you can compare your sample.

it may also refer to standardization of running conditions (percentage and composition of acrylamide, length of running gel, stacking gel, sample volume, volt-hours, etc).
