Intestine tissue falling of slides during H and E staining - (Feb/02/2018 )

Hello everyone, wondering if anyone has suggestions for paraffin embedded intestinal tissue falling off of charged slides during H and E staining. I have several sections of intestine in one block and often only one manages to stay on the slide by the end of the staining protocol. I have been very gentle in transitions and do not tap the slide holder in any way or move it violently. 

Any suggestions much appreciated!

Maybe the tissue was not properly fixed.

I used to see some tissues wont stick well when the automated fixing process was used.

Or some tissue is easy to come off like skin.

Unfortunately, I no longer has detail protocol with me, but you should be able to post fix the tissue after it is cut and adhere on slide.

If post fix does not work, it might be difficult as the staining will not look good.
