Triton-X-100 - (Oct/26/2017 )

Hi

I have a triton X100 0.5 % in my buffer and its just casuing a smear in my SDS gel and destroy all the bands. I am running the gel at 100 V and 12 %gel. If someone has encounter this problem.

triton displaces sds from the proteins. you will have to remove it if you want to run your protein on sds-page.

you can dialyze the sample to remove the triton.
