stats help please with my dataset - (Feb/20/2017 )

Hi

I have got data taken on 10 days from a sample under both high and low media conditions. i have plotted the change on graphs etc over time but need to know if there is a statistical difference between the two conditions (high and low).

How do i do this?

Ive been told i need to do a unpaired t-test and that this is possible in excel.....

the end point is the only real day we are interested in comparing.

A t-test of the end points is a good place to start. If you are using Excel the function can be found in the ‘solver’ add-in.

You have good time-course data; if you want to try something more sophisticated I would recommend plotting a growth curve through each then statistically compare the curve parameters.
