Iron-containing electron carriers. - (Jan/31/2017 )

Iron is a key element in biological electron transfer reactions. Draw the basic structures of

the two most common iron-containing electron carriers (for one of them, two structures are

required) (12). What reduction potential ranges do these electron carriers typically cover (4)?

What are the names of the two types of small redox protein that these carriers are found in

this looks like a test question.

what do you think are the answers?

tell us what you think and we may confirm your guess or steer you to the answers. we won't just answer for you.

I think the most common ones are NADH coenzyme Q reductase and succinate-Coenzyme Q reductase.
