Reversing Formaldehyde crosslinking - (Nov/22/2016 )

Hi, 

I am trying to reverse formaldehyde crosslinking and cannot find a generic protocol. I did see a suggestion of using 1 ul of 5 M NaCl to 25 ul of sample and incubating at 65 degrees overnight. Is this a good way of doing the reversal?

Crosslinks between what sorts of molecules? I'm not sure that protein cross-links can be reversed, but you might be able to do DNA/protein.

It is protein-protein crosslinks... Isn't formaldehyde crosslinking reversible no matter what molecules were crosslinked though?
