industial scale protein production - (Dec/24/2015 )

Hi all, we're focusing on bulk scale production of industrial enzymes, to begin with, amylases. In most of the literature it's mentioned as recombinant enzyme production, to be purified in SMALLER scale, but isn't there ways to modify the original host chromosome or boost the gene expression so that the enzyme is produced without heterologous expression? Would be thankful if someone could give a source of literature.

Actually, the production line is designed according to the demands of small scale industial use. I was wondering whether you have any ideas about peptide synthesis. I'm working on the stuff.
