Confuse on makeup of TLC solution - (Sep/14/2015 )

Okay, I was asked to help in the biochemistry lab this week.  I suppose to make a TLC using n-butanol:acetic acid: water with 65:35:10.   I'm a little confuse on how to make this up.  Any ideas?

To make 110 ml, add 65 ml of n-butanol, 35 ml of glacial acetic acid, and 10 ml of water.

I'm use to stuff adding it up to 100 so this threw me for a loop.  I'm suppose to make 440 ml so if I understand this right its, 44ml of water, 286ml of n-butanol and 154 ml of acetic acid.

no, just take what phage434 said and multiply by 4 (260 ml n-butanol, 140 ml acetic acid, 40 ml water)
