Dilution of Lyophilised glycogen - (Jul/28/2015 )

I have 1g white powdered (Roth) lyophilised glycogen in my lab. how do i dilute it at 10 mg/ml  for DNA/RNA extraction?

Please suggest appropriate solvent and subsequent storage procedure.

-Md Jibran Alam-

you can solubilize glycogen with water.

we use 1 ul of a 20 mg/ml solution to co-precipitate with small amounts of nucleic acid.

1 g will make 100 ml of 10 mg/ml.
