260/280 ratio - (Jul/23/2015 )

Okay I main spectrophotometer isn't working so I have to use the Bio-tek plate reader.  It doesn't say but do I need to dilute the DNA sample in water or can I read it as is?

No, you do not need to dilute your DNA samples. They say so on their website. Are your DNA samples prepared using a standard mini/midi/maxiprep? If yes, they shouldn't exceed 7 ug/ul in concentration so yes, you definitely don't need to dilute.

Well color me silly, why didn't I think of going to the website.  No mini prep kit, did it the old fashion way.

Thank you
