control shRNA - (May/19/2015 )

Hi

In my last experiment, I tried to determine which shRNA contruct of CXCL2 gene should me most effective and I used a control group with had no drug treatment or transfection of any kind. Just should I include a control shRNA group or just a simple control group?

You need to include a control with an off-target shRNA and a scrambled version of your shRNA to prove it isn't the result of transfection with any shRNA or the sequence alone.

I mean I used lentiviruses to deliver my shRNA constructs, should I still use a control shRNA?
