How to convert cfu into mg? - (Apr/13/2015 )

Dear all, 

Anyone knows how to convert CFU into mg? I have the bacterial cell count number but wanna make it into weight unit. Hope someone can help.

You want to measure CFU per mg? in that case, it depends on the species of bacterium as to how much it weighs, and how many bacteria were in the initial inoculum (count them?). The literature suggests somewhere between 10^-10 and 10^-16 g per cell.
