miRNA-meditated miRNA suppression? - (Apr/12/2015 )

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if it is possible to downregulate a specific miRNAs using an miRNA?

(sorry if question seems stupid to some, I am not in the field and need to know this as part of my brainstorming for a project)

miRNAs suppress translation.  Perhaps you could suppress translation of a transcription factor that regulates transcription of an miRNA.  Alternatively, an miRNA completely complementary to a different miRNA could trigger cleavage by Argonaute of that different miRNA's transcript.
