method to detect 5ŽOH end of RNA - (Apr/10/2015 )

Hi everybody!

 

I want to detect the 5´ OH end of a specific mitochondrial RNA. Can someone help me out?

Typical mitochondrial RNA will have a 5' triphosphate. What makes you think it will have a 5' OH?

you are right but there is one processing site that is known to have a 5 OH
