Can I store media containing TPA (PMA) at 4 degrees? - (Mar/18/2015 )

We use TPA (PMA) in our lab to differentiate neuroblastoma cell lines. We have found that 50ng/mL PMA works best.

We stock the chemical as 1mg/mL in I believe DMSO.

To get 50ng/mL I need to add 1uL of 1mg/mL TPA to each 20mL of media.

This just seems like a waste of media as I don't need so much right now. Also, I fear that the repeated Freeze/thaw cycles of the TPA might affect its stability.

I read that TPA is sensitive to light, so Im keeping its time out of the freezer limited, and I'll wrap the media in foil if I am able to store it at 4 degrees.

But can I store TPA containing media at 4 degrees Celsius, and for how long?
