Sperm microRNA isolation - (Nov/30/2014 )

I am trying to isolate microRNA from sperm. I usually use Qiagen kit, but it is so expensive over here that I am trying to move on to another method. However, none of protocols I have tested worked. Would you please let me to know if I don’t want to use kit which protocol is useful for me? And if I want to buy kit which one is better and cheap? Please advise me

may be you can indicate the protocols you have tested already?

Did you try Trizol (Invitrogen) method?
