protocol for cell syncronization using colchicine - (Aug/18/2014 )
Hi,
Im trying to do a dose response for mechencymal cell using colcicine, but Iam not able to find out the concentration to be used anywhere. Have anyone done this for any cell line. Any response would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Here's what Current protocols' "commonly used drugs" article has to say:
Colchicine
Inhibitor of mitosis, used in cell-division studies. Disrupts microtubules and inhibits
tubulin polymerization. Induces apoptosis in PC 12 cells and in cerebellar granule cells.
Soluble in: Ethanol
Stock concentration: 1 mM (store at or below room temperature protected from
light and moisture)
Working concentration: 1 to 10 uM
Duration of incubation: 1 to 24 hr, depending on process studied
Thank you Thelymitra pulchella. I will try it out.
