how to fit figures in one page? - (Aug/11/2014 )

Hi fellow writers,

We  recently submitted a paper in CCR and they have asked us to group together our figures one in each page. So Fig 1 should have A,B,C,D, and E all on one page. These are currently on different slides and we had loaded the powerpoint file. What is the best way to do this? I feel like they will not all fit in one slide.. Any tips? Much appreciate any help! Thanks!

Using photoshop or something similar (GIMP is free version), crop the images so that they contain the minimal size you need to point out features. In Illustrator (Inkscape is free version) set the images up as an array with no spacing between them (i.e. no white space), label a,b, c etc. in the image itself. If you like you could put a border around each image that is inside the image frame, so as to separate them visually without taking up extra space.

You could also do the last part in powerpoint, but proper image editing software works better and has greater control over what you do.
