Degenerated Primers and their problems - (Jul/24/2014 )

Dear Scientists,

         I have designed, degenerated primers but in PCR There is no product. 

can anybody suggest me. how to carryout my PCR. Thanks in advance.

we need a lot of more information (concentrations, pcr program, etc etc) to help you. Degenerated primers are not necessarily a problem, but usually helpful for a pcr. But any badly designed primer can ruin a pcr. Therefore if you think the primer are the problem, you also should give the primer sequences and perhaps the target gene.
