Elisa reading for 24 hrs at 37C - (May/14/2014 )

Hello! Has anyone encountered that a 96 wells plate incubated at 37C for 24hrs in automated elisa reader ended up with wells having volume almost half their initial volume? Is it evaporating? Each well has 300 microl..after 24 hrs it s much less.These Plates have no covers..

In that case i suppose the readings are not accurate??

sounds like evaporation to me.

if it's equal for each well then you may be able to make valid comparisons but it's not likely to be equal.

Thx ! No they are not equal.am repeating the whole thing with plates with lids. I suppose that was not smart to use plates with no lids :(

better to use seals (like these from sigma)
