problem with ATP - (Apr/16/2014 )

first of all I want to apologize for my English. 

My Problem: I want to measure the PMCA activity. To do that I need free ATP, and  I have ATP + Ba or ATP + Na-  . The original technique used a cation exchange column with dowex 50 as resin. I dont have this resin. Do you now another resin with the similar characteristics? An

are you sure you need the free acid? the dowex was probably used just to remove barium.

i would think that the sodium salt would suffice. once you add it to the solution, the atp will exchange the sodium with calcium.
