PE and FITC - (Mar/07/2014 )

Hi,

I am new to using FACS and now I am confused if I can use FITC and PE together as a muticolor application? I read somewhere that these channels have spillover into each others signals and might give misreadings. Could someone help me answer this question.

This is correct, PE and FITC can spill over and you need to do compensation. Which FACS machine/software are you working with ?
As an alternative I could recommend you using FITC and Alexa647, if you can choose your colours, they usually work without compensation
