Body oxygen demand for Humans - (Jan/30/2014 )

hi,

Iam looking for Body oxygen demand for Human Analysis when they are doing different sort of activities during a normal day.
Ex: People doing a desk Job ( For a span of 8 hours), Person doing a morning exercise or Gym( 1 Hour), Person who performs hard jobs like lifting( 8 Hours).
i would Appreciate if someone would guide on these queries.

If you're lucky you could find some average values maybe in a physiology textbook, but you could also try to estimate: At rest, the average oxygen uptake is 250 ml per min and during hard work for an untrained person about 2000-3000 ml, if I remember correctly. (Trained athletes can increase more than that.)
