Small volume of detergent - (Dec/10/2013 )

I have to make a very small volume, stock solution of the detergent. like 10% 30 ul. Should I wight the required amount like 3 mg and dissolve into 30 ul or should I dissolve in less amount first like 15 ul and make the volume upto 30 ul. As its very small its hard to dissolve. In any case my question is should I keep the final volume 30 ul or I can dissolve 3 mg directly in 30 ul.

if you are making a 10% weight/volume solution then you add 3mg and bring to 30ul. but, since it's a stock, why such a strict volume limit?

First I dont need so much, and its very expansive as well.
