free online DNA & plasmid editing tool - (Nov/16/2013 )
Hi all,
We're working on a free tool for sharing, editing, and collaborating on DNA. We call it Benchling. It's completely browser-based so no installing things. Best of all, it's free!
You can jump straight to the demo here. We'd love for you to check it out! We're actively developing a ton of new features, and would happy to listen to any feedback
Also of interest, we've been curating high-quality vector maps from all the major manufacturers (invitrogen, clontech, etc.) - might save you a ton of time while cloning: https://benchling.com/explore
As an example, here's GenScript's pGen2.1:
Anyways, we're hanging out in the thread below so let us know if you have any questions.
(note that we only support for the latest versions of firefox, chrome, safari, and opera, support for other browsers coming soon!)
