how long for bacteria in 37 deg C? - (Oct/09/2013 )

my amp res plates after ligation dont have any colonies after overnight in 37 deg c,  or have  toooo small colonies, i wish to leave them longer in 37 to find more growth. how long can i leave the plates there before effects like plasmid loss and stuff happens?

If you don't have good colonies after 24hrs then your likely not going to get any.  I wouldn't trust any colonies that appeared after that....

If you're growing at 37C, max I'd incubate for 24 hours. If your colonies are super tiny or have hardly any then your clones probably didn't work.
