Plasmid on blotting paper - (Oct/05/2013 )

I've just received a plasmid blotted and dried on a blotting paper from an overseas lab through the air mail.

1. What is the best temperature to store it in before I find a time to reconstitute it?

2. How long can it be stored on paper?

3. What is the common reconstitution buffer to obtain the plasmid DNA?

I once happened to store them around 3 months at 4 degrees before reconstitution.

I normally cut the plasmid spot, put them in 1.5ml eppendorf, add around 100-200 microlitres of H2O (or T.E) and keep in shaker for few hours to overnight and store them at 4 until i transform.
