Difference between PFA, acetone and methanol in cell fixation - (Aug/12/2013 )

Does anyone know what are the differences between these fixatives? I've tried looking it up on Google but couldn't find a comprehensive guide on this.  Some people use methanol to fix their cells for certain antibodies but others use PFA.
