RBC lysis buffer for Rat Blood - (Jul/16/2013 )

Hi everyone,

Long time no see!

Can anyone recommend a good RBC lysis buffer for rat blood?

I have tried the Biolegend buffer (ammonium chloride, potassium carbonate, and EDTA) and it just doesn't work well compared to when I use mouse blood (I have tried different times etc).

I also tried the DAKO Utilyse kit (which is FANTASTIC for mouse blood) but it didn't work at all for my rat blood.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Maybe you can try to use ddH2O for 20-30s
