Selection of E.coli competent cells - (Jun/27/2013 )

I am going to get a pT7 Blue vector with cDNA of interest cloned. After I receive the plasmid, I want to fo transformation to get more plasmids. Which commercial E.coli competent cells can I use for plasmid propagation? What about One shot Top 10?

Yes, those would work, or any other commercially available variety. If you have a strain of E.coli in your lab that you would like to use, it is very easy to make your own competent cells - protocol here
