96 well plates for enzymatic assay - (Jun/25/2013 )

Hi,

For enzymatic assays what kind of plates to be used? we have ELISA plates from corning but we are looking for some cheap alternate as we use these plates very often. I don't know if some coating is required for enzymatic assays? somebody please suggest some vendor and type of plates that we should order.

Thanks

what type of enzymatic assay?

you'll be using the plate as a 96 well cuvette. you won't want anything to bind to it.

you are right, we don't want anything to bind, just for high throughput screening and kinetics we want to use 96 well plate instead of cuvette.

you may be able to use this plate from corning (sold by sigma).
