Sodium orthovanadate (Na2VO3) preparation - (Feb/15/2013 )
Anyone prepared
It seems like the pH has to be readjusted to pH8 using a tricky protocol.
And I heard you would have to activate it prior to usage by boiling?

check the pH, if it's low then yes, but, since the activation procedure says to store aliquots of active orthovanadate at -20C, you probably won't have to.

not a clue (maybe it's concentrated enough to suppress the freezing point to lower than -20C, maybe your freezer is off, maybe you looked during defrost cycle?)
