SpotLight turbo microarray scanner - (Dec/06/2012 )

Hi everybody,
I wanted to know, does anyone have details about the SpotLight turbo microarray scanner from ArrayIt. According to ArrayIt this scanner is LED and not laser based, can detect up to six colors and "provides improved performance and efficiency comparable to laser scanners." I'm trying to reach AraayIt but they did not give me a simple answer for the q if and when this scanner will be on the market.

i just looked at it at their website. it appears to be relatively inexpensive but the specs are a little primitive (10um resolution).

modern microarrays require 5um (~250 000 probes) or better (2-3um) resolution (>1M probes).

(we have an agilent microarray reader with 2um resolution)
