Where could statistics of animal/plant growth be found? - (Oct/09/2012 )

Dear colleagues,
Could anybody advise any open resource (online statistical databases or something) which contains following data:
-Mass dependences for mammals/fishes/vermigrade etc on time for the whole postnatal (prenatal) period.
-Similar to the above dependences for botany (tree/plant/roots/leafs mass behavior with time).
I know that such data could be found in numerous articles, but I’m interested in centralized storage and where this data is "fresh". It would be appreciated very much if somebody can share the information.
Great thanks in advance.

Try the Nucleic Acids Research (www.nar.oxfordjournals.org) online database issue, they might have something in there that will suit.
