How to make a 5mM Zinc, acetate buffer of pH 4.7???.

one way... take enough zinc hydroxide to make 5mM at the desired final volume, titrate with acetic acid to 4.7 and adjust to final volume (or make a stock at a higher concentration in a similar manner and dilute to 5mM).

or

if acetate is to be 5mM then take enough acetic acid to make 5mM at the desired final volume, titrate with zinc hydroxide and adjust to final volume.
