ethanol in final DNA sample - (Aug/09/2012 )
Does anyone know a way to remove excess ethanol from DNA dissolved in about 50ul of 1/5th TE buffer? I didn't fully dry the ETOH from a few samples and I am afraid it will cause problems downstream.

The most foolproof way would be to reprecipitate your DNA. Add 1/10 volume of 3M sodium acetate, pH 5.2, add 2.5 volumes ethanol, spin to precipitate, and then wash with 70% ethanol, spin, and dry well this time. You could also speedvac all of the liquid and redissolve, but the pellet might be hard to dissolve.
