Incubator--how to use rocker inside? - (Jul/24/2012 )
Hello,
I am very new at cell culture and need some guidance.
I was planning to use a rocker inside our lab's incubator. There is a hole in the back of the incubator covered by a cork. I assume this is where I should pull the electrical cord for the rocker through to plug into an outlet. But wouldn't this disrupt the controlled environment inside the incubator? Is there some kind of contraption I need to cover this hole?
Thank you.

Usually you need to find a cork (usually called a "bung" or a "stopper") with a hole in it that the cord can be passed through, similar to what you would find on a vacuum trap.
