RNA caculation!! - (Jul/17/2012 )

hi,
i have a simple question but i just want to double check please.
when calculating the RNA con. i am getting an RNA con. on the nano drop 68 ng/ul, the volume i have of RNA is 60ul, what this mean when i calculate RNA in ug?

and another question, how much do i need of RNA when i run RT-PCR??? this is my first time.
thank u.

Well, you have 68ng/ul.
That is 68ng of RNA in every ul
You have 60ul of this.
So, simply multiply 60 X 68 = 4080ng RNA

As for how much you need for RT-PCR -- what does your protocol say?

thank u, yes that what i have caudated.
