Restriction buffer precipitates - (Mar/15/2012 )
Dears,
I just spotted that the restriction buffer from New England seems to have precipitates once its thawed out from -20. They are purchased at least before an year ago.Although the digestion is happening i just wondered is it a symbol to throw them away or is it a normal buffer characteristic.

The only precipitate common in these buffers is in T4 DNA ligase buffer, which must be resuspended carefully on thawing. I have not seen precipitates in other buffers.
