Plasmid sequencing without primers - (Jan/12/2012 )

Hi,

I have a plasmid of about 7.5 kbp that needs to be sequenced. Due to shortage of time I don't really have time to design a primer, and so my supervisor and I wondered if it was possible to sequence the whole plasmid without a primer.
Are there companies that can do that?
Is that even possible?

Hope anyone is able to help me with this!

you may not need to design a primer. commercial plasmids have standard priming sites designed in. just obtain the standard primer closest to your insert (from a neighbor?) and sequence away.
