Dilution range for fluorescein - (Aug/03/2011 )

Hi all,

I have a task of diluting the flurophore(fluorescein)for concentration likely ranging from umol to nmol. How do i do the calculation? what will be the unit after dilution umol/l or nmol/liter?

Please Help :o

Calculate using "Concentration1 x volume1 = concentration2 x volume2" Ensure you keep the units the same on both sides so that you are not out by an order of magnitude with the final results.

If you do your calculations and then post them, we can check them...

The units are whatever suits you, but for most people it is easier to read 1 nmol/l than it is to read 0.001 umol/l.
